"We were more than happy with yours and Michael's service. We didn't worry about Sadie once during our trip away. We felt completely peaceful leaving her with you knowing that she would be treated as one of the family. The only concern we had was knowing that she had an accident, as this is very unlike her. However, we do not think that it had anything at all to do with the care she was under, rather we think she was overly excited and happy to be around other dogs. We especially appreciated the detailed report of her behavior. And the bath that she received was also a very pleasant surprise. (I'm guessing she received one...she smelled much better when we picked her up than when we dropped her off.) Thanks again for the phenomenal service!! DOGGIE OVERNIGHT CARE
In have two dogs, both are rescue animals and are use to a large yard to spend the days. They hate Kennels! they become very nervous and let me know about it when I pick them up. So, in the past I had someone check in on them when I was out of town, but the whole time I was looking for someone who would board them in their own home, and let them continue to socialize with people while I was gone. A month or so back, I had to be out of town for an extended period of nine days. This was way too long to leave them by themselves, and started searching again for someone who would have my dogs in their home and part of their family.
I set up a meeting so Nena could visit with my dogs, I could learn her background, and make sure this seemed like the best option. I was very impressed by her level of preparedness, throughness, and general interaction with the animals and her clients.
My dogs had a great time, and she had the pictures to prove it. It is reassuring to know that I can travel, and not feel guilty that my dogs are locked away in a kennel, thinking they have once again been abandoned, and have little opportunity for exercise. I am so happy to have found Nena, and to know that when I can't be home, my dogs are having as much fun as I am, interacting with new friends, human and other.
